Client information talks
We believe that providing our community with the correct information regarding their pets’ health is key to effective animal welfare and generally improving pet-owner relationships. In addition, we often see people who have a keen interest in their pet and are often flooded with their enthusiastic questions.
With this in mind, as part of our ongoing services to the community, we have been presenting guest speaker evenings. These are not only for our clients, but for any member of the public interested in their furry companions’ wellbeing.
We have held talks on ‘The itchy dog’ and the ‘First aid for your pet’ demonstrations have been particularly popular. We have had a guest speaker, complemented by 2 of our nurses, who presented an informative evening's discussion on the topic of noise and fireworks phobias. The talk on 'Poisons In The Home' was another very popular evening, as was the seminar on 'You Are What You Eat'. We aim to continue these meetings with further talks on vaccinations, mobility in the older pet, behavioural problems and many more.
Next Presentation: 'Young At Heart' - a free talk encompassing many common conditions seen in the elderly pet. Wednesday 30th May 7:30pm. Includes a free urine test (for your pet!).
For those that are interested, and to suggest topics that you would like to know more about, please phone 01425 470474 or email mark@ringwoodvets.co.uk and we will put you on our mailing list.
