Payment terms
Thank you for entrusting the care and attention of your pet to Ringwood Veterinary Centre. All private veterinary practices depend on the fees paid by their clients, and these fees must be set at a reasonable level to maintain the high standard of facilities and staff expertise that you and your pet will benefit from. We constantly strive to keep our fees as affordable as possible and in order to ensure this continues, we ask that payment is made at the time of service, purchase or collection following surgery.
A consultation fee will be levied each time you are seen by the vet, and credit is not available.
Prices for routine services can be obtained by phoning the reception desk (also see our price list) and an estimate will be provided for more involved procedures. You will be asked to sign a consent form to acknowledge your permission has been obtained before any surgical procedure is undertaken. In some situations, due to the nature of medical and surgical conditions, providing an accurate quote is difficult. However, we will keep you informed if any additional costs are incurred.
We will pursue any outstanding debts via Absolute Debt Recovery and reserve the right to add late payment fees to cover costs.
Ringwood Veterinary Centre Limited strongly supports the principle of insuring your pet against unexpected illness or accidents. Please be aware that it is your responsibility to settle our accounts and then reclaim fees from your insurance company.
